Maxforce BaitsMaxforce (by bayer) is the best selling professional grade bait on the market.Products are available for ant bait and roach bait. Professional grade products are a much higher strength than the cut-down versions available to homeowners in supermarkets. Baits pesticide sprays are not the same. Sprays only kill the insects that find it. But Baits are specifically designed to target the Ant BaitOnly about 10% of a nest's ants will be out looking for food.If you only use spray to kill your ants, you'll leave the vast majority of the colony completely unscathed and able to breed. When the ants that do leave the nest find the bait, they chew it up and make a liquid that they then return to the nest and regurgitate for their fellow ants to eat. Maxforce Ant Bait relies on that procedure and uses it to get the foraging ants to eat and regurgitate a slow acting stomach poison spreading it to the entire colony. The ant bait is safe for humans and domestic pets, but lethal to insects as small as an ant. Roach BaitThe roach bait works a little differently, but still uses the roaches to deliver the bait to the entire nest.Roaches find the bait you put out for them, eat it and die slowly in their nest. Once dead, the other roaches clean up the evidence - by eating the dead roach - and in turn ingest the bait, die and get eaten. The tactic of getting the ants/roaches to take & spread the bait is so good that Maxforce have named it the "Domino Effect" Fly BaitBaits flies and kills them within 60 seconds.Unlike the ant and roach baits, the fly bait comes in a granular form that you mix with water and spray (or paint) onto an area that you want to attract flies to. Once in the vacinity, the flies are attracted to & eat the bait - then die within 60 seconds. |
